Rebekah Sanchez-Hodge (Becky) is our Lab Manager/Research Associate. She received her masters from THE Ohio State University in Master of Public Health- Veterinary Public Health, and loves college football season to start!!!! She is from Kettering/Dayton, Ohio, and moved here for the research triangle/beach. Her favorite projects involve working with the heart, because it’s fascinating. In addition to science, she also is the program coordinator for MHI SUMMER, a summer program that places underrepresented students in heart research labs and provides career development/mentoring.
