Leah’s favorite part about lab is the multidisciplinary approach we take in our research and the emphasis placed on teaching future scientists through teamwork.

Her favorite lab memory is the trip she took with Dr. Schisler, Becky, and Selin to Brookhaven National Laboratory/NASA’s Space Radiation lab. This was Leah’s first time outside of an academic lab setting and it consisted of great food & company.

Outside of lab Leah likes to travel, especially to Germany to cheer on their soccer team. She has two cats and throws great lab parties.
